Our award winning Smiths Restaurant is situated within the main bar area of the hotel which includes a contemporary area known as the chainmail restaurant. The chainmail restaurant has been designed with fabulous taste in mind and features a chainmail cordon from ceiling to floor and a huge mirror to the rear which allows light to enter the space delightfully. Our À la carte menu is updated regularly and features dishes made with the finest local produce and prepared by award winning chefs.

Recently in 2010 we opened our Smiths Lounge area which is simply a great space to relax. With large contemporary, luxury seats and sofas combined with large windows; this space is wonderful throughout the day and is also really special at dusk when the sun is just setting. The lounge also has its own relaxed Lounge menu so it would be perfect for a quick bite to eat or if you are looking to have lunch in Gretna. Our fantastic cocktail menu is also something not to be missed; our Strawberry Daiquiris are almost legendary and there is certainly something for everyone.

Should you be looking for private dining then we can also organise this here at Smiths Restaurant. We have 2 private dining areas which can accommodate 20 people in each and these spaces are regularly booked for special occasions such has birthdays, anniversaries and even by smaller wedding parties.
Here at Smiths Hotel we offer a luxury experience at great value and this is reflected in the well-considered wine list, chosen with a lot of care, to offer a range to suit all tastes, budgets and occasions. There are a lot of good unpretentious wines here, alongside some classics.
